The monstrosity of a hedge has been well and truly chopped.
It now resembles a typical african savannah tree!!!! and in Buckingham of all places..

Alot of activity on the horticultural side this weekend.

On the go currently I have......

in the ground..

Tatos
Carrots
and Parsnips
(thanks Dad)
not forgeting the Bubarb.

No sign of any green poking through yet.


in pots..

Squash - no green yet
Strawberrys - 8-10cm now transfered to larger pots
Peppers - on the grow
Chillis - not much activity, plants are getting bigger
Tomatoes - from seed, no green yet. from plants they are growing at a fast rate.
Cucumbers - from seed to green yet

Lavender has just started to sprout.
Chive is alive!!!
no sign of the mint yet.
Sun Flowers - planted to activity yet.

Cosmos and Aster flowers from seen are roaring along. from seed they are growing as you watch.

Charlotte as Snow White...

Book week at Buckingham Primary was centred on the story of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs (sorry, vertically challenged people).

As a part of the activities, all of the children had to come to school dressed up as a character from the film.......obviously Charlotte went as Snow!!!!!

When the school realised that the cast was somewhat limited to around 9/10 characters, it was quickly changed to a disney character........so what did some kids come to school as......jungle book, aladdin, beauty and the beast?

Nope......I actually saw a soldier, a cyberman from Doctor Who and a knight. I must have missed some of those disney classic!!!!

Trampoline..........built and in position...

Never take a job as a trampoline erector. Arms ache like mad pulling all those springs. But its completed now and wont be taken down until 2025!!!

Two of the most excited girls in Buckingham stood watching me put it together. If I had a penny for everytime I heard .." can I have a go now!!!! " or " is it finished yet ".

Pheasant Pluckers Plucking.........

This Pheasant is using the fence line as cover from predators!! (like I know what I am talking about)
